Air-layering was successfully done in Pinus roxburghii. The factors conducive for such an operation are proper selection of parent shoot, time of air-layering and control of moisture, temperature and air. Individual role of these factors is described. The method followed, induces prolific ischolar_main formation in air-layered branches.- Air Layering in Sal (Shorea Robusta)

Air layering in Shorea robusta was successfully carried out. Adjustments are necessary in time of air layering, selection of branch and ischolar_maining medium. Profuse ischolar_main formation takes place with seradix B3 ischolar_maining harmones. Procedure of air layering and observations on air-layers made have been summarised.- Preliminary Trial of Grafting in Pinus Roxburghii

Grafting in chir pine was successfully carried out in a preliminary trial. The best time for grafting appears to be the last week of January when the cambial activity is very fast. The grafts should be kept in shade till the end of summer.- Jacaranda acutifolia Humb and Bonpl. Syn. Jacaranda ovalifolia R. Br.; J. mimosifolia D. Don.
